I purchased a smaller Armakat Cat Tree a few years ago, which had a great-looking design, but was VERY wobbly. Eventually, the cats had completely destroyed it, so I replaced it with the more-substantial B3803.

While all cat trees are ugly, this one has an especially ugly color of carpet. It's not the medium blue you see in the picture, but a brighter and more "1991" shade of blue. However, I didn't buy it to look pretty, I bought it to give my 2 adult kitties a place to scratch and to play.

While the scratching posts are pretty standard - and fairly high quality - the levels are a bit awkward. The cat shown in the pictures is a small kitten, but I figured my 12 lb Calico would still fit in the domed areas. She partially fits in them, but it is slightly too awkward for her to enjoy using them. The platforms themselves are just slightly too small to make for a really comfy spot for her, too. My smaller cat, an 8lb fuzzball, fits on the platforms well, but even she is a little too small to fit easily in the domed areas (though she tries).

All these problems aside, this cat tree is a deal. It's cheap, easy to put together, and a pretty good size for 2-4 cats. This is a nice cat tree. It wobbles a little bit though, so it's definitely a good idea to keep it against a wall or mounted. The cubby-hole is the perfect size for our fat cat to hang out it. Toys that come with are cheap- but hey- I'm sure you're not looking to buy a cat tree just for the toys that it comes with. Overall, I'm pretty darn pleased (though wobbly, I would buy again.)

This product is great. Watch the measurements, it is very tall. You want to have a spot for this one. The hammock is small so my cats cant cozy up in it. I imagine starting with a kitten would be easier as they tend to not notice how big they get. Squeezing into small spots. Gotta love em. The very top does get wobbly but my kitties are plump so I imagine they get a little rough. Besides the very top the rest is very sturdy. And AWESOME to put together. The material is very fuzzy. This is a wonderful product to buy for your cat. My cat loves to climb on all the levels and especially to perch at the very top looking out the window at the birds at our feeders. He also likes to swat and play with the toy that hangs on the upper level (a spare is included as well) and scratch at the posts. This tree is going to be unstable for any cat larger than a few pounds. If you've got chubby cats, this might not work for you. However, I got around the problem by fixing the cat tree to the wall. It's now quite stable, even when our 15 pound cat is climbing it.

My cats were on it while I was building it. These cats will not get off of this furniture. This is the best thing I did for my two little roommates. Solid construction and easy to put together. Instructions for assembly are drawings only, but if followed closely they are satisfactory. This comes with an allen wrench and a cheap open end wrench.
