My cats won't touch this item. I tried cat nip, cat nip spray, putting them on it, playing with them around -near-on top of it. They aren't even impressed with the little ball toy inside. I suppose its just as well; I won't have to worry about replacing the cardboard scratching bed in it. I tried to give it to my friends who have cats but they said they already knew their kitties weren't going to touch it either.
