My little 3 pound puppy loves to shred pee pads (the ones you can see the absorbent stuffing/filling underneath the thin top layer - then afterwards the escaped filling makes a huge mess on the floor). These Iris pads do not have a thin top layer or visible stuffing that can come out - and he hasn't seemed to want to scratch/tear up these pads because of it. I have the Iris small and medium pee pad trays to go w/the corresponding pee pads.
