The French hinges on this treat bag fail in about a month. The hinges are designed to pop open so your hand can get inside without delay, then pop shut with just a little pressure on the outside of the bag. When the hinges break, the bag will fail to stay open, but it won't be sealed tightly closed like it is designed to. This wouldn't be terrible if it didn't scrape your hand on the way in and out of the bag. I usually continue to use the bag until the hinges completely fail and the bag just falls open, at which point it is next to useless and needs to be replaced.
If you are going to be using this bag on a near daily basis, do not expect it to last more than a month or two before the hinges fail.
That said, the hinges they use seem to be the same as the other brands of treat bags of this type; they all fall apart all too quickly. I choose Outward Hound because of the reflective piping, the soft edges of the bag which do not poke your arms, and the good customer service at Kyjen (the maker of these bags). When I complained about this problem, they sent me a new bag at no cost.Get more detail about Designer Quick Access Treat 'N Training Bag - Colors May Vary.
